Welcome
to Books Child Free Online Reading section, a place
where you can select a book to read online any time
at your convenience. This site contains about one
thousand books from hundreds of authors. The collection
of these books are in the following categories: fictions/novels,
short stories, poems, essays, plays. Many of these
books are works of American literature and English
literature from well-known authors such as William
Shakespeare, Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Jules Verne,
Homer, Robert Frost, Edgar Allan Poe, Alexander Pope,
Arthur Conan Doyle,Jane Austen... and more authors'
works will be added to the online collection every
week.
To browse all work(s) of an author, first click on
the button "All Authors" above, then select
an author's name; when you see a list of work(s) of
a chosen author, select a book to read online.
The
Books Child Free Online Reading collections currently
contain about thousands antique children's books which
were published in the 19th and early 20th century.
We shall be putting these combined collections on
line as funding permits. Our current goal of putting
2,000 volumes on line will create an online library
of approximately thousands of html pages. However,
as we are still collecting books from around the world,
we expect the Rosetta Project online library will
eventually number millions of html pages. We are currently
including translations of these books into the world's
languages, and plan to include sound files, so that
all children worldwide can read and listen to these
stories. If you would like to volunteer to translate
any of these stories or books, or you would like to
contribute to this worthwhile project, please contact:

for all the world's children, and we hope that people

The
Books Child Free Online Reading is geared towards
younger children (under 8 years old). Many children
will be able to navigate through the books by themselves.
Audio is available in the upper left hand corner of
every page. This way, every child can hear and see
the entire book. The audio can also be used as a parental
aid. Parents can relax and let the book be read to
them and their child. We offer a large selection of
